I love art, doing it, looking at it and, as I belong to three art groups, the social side.
I am a member of PEAS, a local community art group which meets in our local Lifelong Learning Centre. When I first started it was run by the council and we had a tutor but when that stopped we started our own group. We have demonstrations and paint alongs with various artists, group challenges and every year we hold a ‘Paintfest’ with the two other community art groups in the centre to showcase the work we have done.
I also belong to an art group that meets in our local park, we have a tutor and she sets us different tasks using different mediums and subjects.
And I go to a sketching group which meets in a local museum
